Last July 21, 2023 Fintech Philippines Association President George Royeca, Executive Director Amor Maclang, and Trustee Robertson “Dick” Chiang, together with the Advisory members of the association, Atty. Jeff Punzalan of Brankas, Albert Tinio of GoTyme, Francis Diaz of Luna Securities, Gene Frizzell of Mount Fuji Lending, Kelvin Paulino of Dragonpay, Michael Gatela, and Saikat Sarkar of Uno Digital Bank engaged in meaningful discussions with Commissioner Kelvin Lester Lee of Securities and Exchange Commission on promoting proper Corporate Governance among startup and early stage tech companies. The primary focus was on setting robust Industry Standards to encourage best practices, interoperability and enhance trust and acceptance of fintech solutions.
