FPH held its February meet-up, sponsored by Dragonpay & GeiserMaclang, on February 29th. The event, themed ‘Rebuilding Trust in the New Global Digital Economy,’ was an enriching experience where industry leaders gathered to delve into pivotal discussions.
One of the highlights was the session on the state of QR in the Philippines, shedding light on its deployment and implications for the local fintech landscape. We were honored to hear from the President and Executive Director of All Bank Mr. Jesus Vicente Garcia, who shared invaluable insights into their remarkable growth journey and the challenges they overcame to pioneer digital payment solutions.
Moreover, the discussions on the role of identity in the digital era were thought-provoking, with esteemed guests Stephanie Tower, Country Lead of Nchain, Dennis Gatuslao, VP of Bayad, Martin Penaflor, CEO of Tangere, Atty.
