15 AUGUST 2023 — The Fintech Philippines Association’s officers and members had a productive dialogue with the Navotas Representative and Chairman of the House Committee on Information and Communications Technology, Congressman Toby M. Tiangco. The concluded dialogue is a part of the series of Meet-and-Greet Sessions with the lawmakers and the stakeholders of Open Finance. During the said activity, the committee discussed the vital role of Congress in addressing key issues and challenges confronting Open Finance in the Philippines.
Congressman Tiangco lauded the said initiative and expressed his invitation to the association to participate in committee deliberations and further share its insights on how genuine financial inclusion may be achieved through technological innovations.
